Huawei P40 Pro+ Finally Comes To Malaysia, Available June 26 For RM4,999

It took awhile but the Huawei P40 Pro+ is finally landing on our shore. Almost three months after the P40 Pro and P40 made its debut here, the big brother of the P40 family will hit store shelves locally on June 26.

The P40 Pro+ brings an extra lens to the rear camera setup in the form of a 8MP telephoto lens. It is a step up form the P40 Pro’s quad camera array. The higher-end device also boasts faster wireless charging at 40W. Those are the only notable differences as far as internal specs are concerned. On the outside, the two phones look almost identical save for the fact that P40 Pro+ features a ceramic back as well as ceramic frame, which also causes the device to be heavier.

It will cost approximately RM4,999 to purchase the P40 Pro+ in Malaysia, which will only be available in White Ceramic. But you will also be getting over RM1,300-worth of freebies that include a Huawei Freebuds 3, a Huawei SuperCharge Wireless Charger Stand, free access for up to 3 months for Huawei Video VIP, dimsum entertainment, Qello Concert and The Explorers. On top of that, you can also enjoy free 50GB storage on Huawei Cloud, one-year extended warranty as well as one-month screen crack protection.

The P40 Pro+ is not the only product to release on June 26 as Huawei Malaysia will also be bringing in the MatePad Pro 5G here. It will be the first commercially-available 5G tablet in our market.
