It would appear the Samsung Galaxy A31 has made its way to Malaysia via retailer DirectD, although we are only getting one variant.
To recap, The Galaxy A31 was unveiled by Samsung as its new addition to the ever-expanding Galaxy A series of devices back in March 2020. Although this is supposedly the lower-end in a series of middle range devices, the Galaxy A31 is rather impressive in the hardware department.
For starters, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core SoC paired to 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. There is support for additional 512GB of storage through the use of a microSD card. Going back outside, the 6.4-inch device is fitted with a Super-AMOLED Infinity-U display, which is quite mouthful, but the best part is that there will be a fingerprint display built-in. In the camera department, we find a quad-camera setup comprising a 48-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro sensor and 5-megapixel depth sensor. Over at the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie-taker nestled in the U-shaped notch.
In any case, DirectD is only offering the 6GB + 128GB variant for MYR 1,099. Expect some freebies when you order it.
